Hornblower Marine Hosts Spring Baudouin Training Class

This past week, Hornblower Marine proudly hosted the first Baudouin training class of the year at our state-of-the-art propulsion and service facility in Stratford, Connecticut. The multi-day program brought together a dynamic group of partners from Baudouin and several of our trusted dealer organizations from across the region. Together, we deepened technical expertise, forged stronger relationships, and took important steps toward expanding our certified service network for Baudouin engines in North America.

The training was led by a team of expert instructors and was designed to offer a comprehensive mix of classroom theory and hands-on practice. Participants engaged in everything from engine teardown and inspection to live troubleshooting simulations — exercises carefully crafted to replicate real-world challenges that technicians might face in the field.

By the end of the session, attendees earned the title of Certified Local Baudouin Technician, empowering them to provide service and support with the highest standards of quality and precision. This certification not only strengthens each dealer’s capabilities but also helps Hornblower Marine and Baudouin extend reliable, localized support to customers throughout the region.

“We’re committed to investing in education and skill-building to support the long-term success of our partners and the vessels powered by Baudouin,” said Josh Flowers, Sales Manager at Hornblower Marine. “Seeing the enthusiasm, engagement, and collaboration during this session was incredibly rewarding — it’s exactly the kind of momentum we’re working to build across our network.”

We’re thrilled with the success of this session and grateful to everyone who participated. We’re already looking ahead to the next opportunity to continue growing this community of Baudouin-certified professionals. Our next training class is scheduled for this winter, and we encourage any interested dealers or service providers to reach out early to reserve a spot.
