HMS Acquires Pacific Navigation
Hornblower Marine Services, Inc. (HMS) an international consulting, marine management and transportation company recently announced that it had acquired Washington state based Pacific Navigation Company.
A new corporation, HMS-Pac Nav, Inc. has been formed to carry on the existing Puget Sound operations of Pacific Navigation Company as well as new projects along the Pacific West Coast.
John Waggoner, President and CEO of HMS stated that “We are delighted this transaction has been completed. Bringing Pacific Navigation Company into our family of marine businesses immediately enhances our West Coast capabilities.”
Waggoner went on to say “This is a great fit for both companies. The resources, personnel and management systems at Pac Nav are truly among the best in the nation”.
HMS is a privately held company headquartered in New Albany, Indiana. It has subsidiary operations in New Jersey, Florida, Wisconsin, Alabama and Washington states.
