HMS Senior Management Team

Gary Seabrook
Executive Vice President

Gary Seabrook joined HMS in 1997 after ten years with Hornblower Dining Yachts as Captain, Operations Director, and General Manager. He began his career with HMS as General Manager for our City of Jacksonville car/passenger ferry operation and was responsible for the transition of the ferry service from state to city ownership.

Under Gary’s leadership the car/passenger service across the St. Johns River exceeded all expectations. During the first 180 days of operation, revenue increased substantially; at the end of December 1998, revenue had increased by over 40%, thereby decreasing the subsidy from the city by a corresponding amount. HMS continues to enjoy an excellent relationship with the client City of Jacksonville.

The success of this operation and Gary’s leadership qualities have resulted in elevation of his position to Executive Vice-President of Hornblower Marine Services. Gary is responsible for start-up operations as well as oversight of existing marine management contracts. Strategically, Gary is responsible for ensuring that contemporary management tools and technology are implemented company wide.

Gary oversaw the day-to-day operation of the M/V Trump Casino operation in Buffington Harbor, Indiana from takeover through the needed turnaround
.
Currently, Gary is spearheading development of the Hawaii Superferries project and providing oversight management of the Lake Express high-speed ferry on Lake Michigan, the Riverlink Ferry in Camden, New Jersey, and the Saint Johns River Ferry in Jacksonville, Florida.
